Modern home with a thoughtful design, functional layout and the opportunity to be closer to nature – all this comes together in the apartment building project in Riga – Parka Kvartāls. Currently, more than 50 families have already found a home in the first and second buildings – creating a vibrant neighborhood and a strong sense of community, and construction of the third and fourth buildings is actively underway. Now this project is taking another step closer to its future residents – the demonstration apartment is fully furnished and open for viewing.
“At Invego, our hallmark is to develop complete residential areas combining most modern architecture, usage of natural light and creating environments that combine comfort and privacy in both outdoor and indoor spaces. We put emphasis on bringing people also outside via combining natural greenery landscaping, active areas and playgrounds and special walking areas separated from parking. “Parka Kvartāls” has been especially planned for people who value quiet neighborhood and privacy and same time seek for modern living environment, not far from city center – this concept has been very well approved by our customers,” says Kristjan-Thor Vähi, CEO of Invego.
The residential area “Parka Kvartāls” is being developed by two experienced real estate developers from Estonia – Invego and Reterra. Kristjan-Thor Vähi says that together with real estate developer Reterra, they are using the knowledge and experience gained from jointly implementing several medium- and large-scale residential and commercial projects in Estonia. “We use the strengths of each of our experts, so together we manage to create brilliantly thought-out projects and provide people with homes that increase in value over time.”
“”Parka Kvartāls” is a project where design serves people – it offers peace, aesthetics and functionality in one place,” comments Reigo Randmets, CEO of Reterra.
Schmidt – An experienced partner in premium-class furniture
In the model apartment, which demonstrates how high-quality interior elements can complement modern architecture and allow future residents to envision their daily lives in their new home already today, Schmidt-manufactured kitchen and built-in furniture solutions have been used as well as interior design items and other home furnishings offered by Schmidt’s partners.
Natalija Pumpure, Project Manager at Schmidt interior and furniture showroom, explains that when designing the layout of the model apartment, the goal was to create a harmonious and expressive home environment – tones and materials were selected to highlight and enhance the apartment’s best features.
“Since the apartment has light walls, floors, and large windows, we decided to use bolder accents in the kitchen – dark black wood and a vivid coral tone, which stand out beautifully against the light background. The Dekton ‘Awake’ surface, with its rich combination of terracotta and graphite shades, elegantly ties together the interior’s color palette. All kitchen appliances (Bosch, Elica) and plumbing fixtures (Grohe, Reginox) were chosen in black from our trusted partners. Meanwhile, for the bedroom and hallway wardrobes, we opted for calmer tones with a natural wood accent. The final result is a elegant, current, and functional home design tailored to the everyday needs and lifestyle of the modern person,” shares Natalija Pumpure.
The “Parka Kvartāls” project will consist of 3 five-story and 1 four-story houses, which meet energy efficiency class A. To ensure much more daylight and allow you to enjoy the beautiful view, the apartments have extra large windows, and each apartment also has its own balcony. Buyers will have the opportunity to choose from three types of decoration to match their individual interior design preferences.
Green, inspiring environment
To give the project the perfect balance between a green environment and life in a new building, a large part of the trees growing on the territory are preserved during construction. Trees such as lindens, elms, and a large oak grow in the courtyard of “Parka Kvartāls” – there are even large trees of local and national importance. In addition, greenery is also being created in the territory. The entire block of apartment buildings is covered with paved pedestrian paths for walks and, of course, a children’s playground has been created for family recreation.
“Our new buildings feature underground parking, ensuring that outdoor spaces are as open and spacious as possible. We never simply build a house — we create an entire living environment prioritizing people well-being,” adds Kristjan-Thor Vähi.
Close to everything that matters
The advantageous location in Ziepniekkalns guarantees easy access to the center of Riga both by personal car, which takes only 10-15 minutes, and by public transport. Near the new project there are shops, several green areas, as well as private and municipal kindergartens, schools, sports centers and other providers of daily services. Fans of active recreation will appreciate the opportunity to go for walks to the historical Bišumuiža neighborhood, which is located nearby.
