The developer Invego invested 75 million euros into establishing one of Estonia’s most extensive business districts in the past decade, with the anchor tenant being the global technology company Wise. Performing at the opening concert for an audience of over a thousand guests were The Motown Sound and vocalists Robert Linna and Rita Ray.

Invego CEO Kristjan-Thor Vähi emphasized that Krulli Park is undoubtedly one of the most modern and unique urban space solutions in both Tallinn and the Baltics. “The key features of Krulli Park and the surrounding business district are exceptional architecture, the latest technologies, and a people-centered public space, further enriched by the historical industrial legacy of Franz Krull,” said Vähi, adding that these were the reasons why this site became the new Estonian headquarters for Wise, hosting several thousand employees.

Tallinn Deputy Mayor Pärtel-Peeter Pere remarked during the park’s opening that Nordic-style urban and real estate development means taking into account the surrounding environment and people. “The City of Tallinn is, of course, very pleased with the creation of Krulli Park,” said Deputy Mayor Pere, expressing satisfaction with the newly completed urban space.

“The strength of Krulli Park lies in its integrity. We focused on the functional integration of buildings and outdoor space and revitalized an old park with ancient trees by planting over 18,000 different plants to create an enjoyable green urban space for the future,” described Vähi. He noted the park is well-suited for socializing with friends, taking lunch breaks, relaxing, or even having business meetings or gatherings. “The park, located in the heart of the district, is a pleasant and comfortable place to step outside during the day, yet it is also an open urban space where all community members are welcome at any time,” Vähi emphasized.

The business district, developed on the grounds of the former Franz Krull Machinery Factory, is situated near Noblessner, Volta Quarter, and the Telliskivi Creative City. The area’s centerpiece is a thoroughly renovated former limestone industrial building with a total area of nearly 30,000 m². The entire development places strong emphasis on networks for light traffic and car-free accessibility. A large underground parking garage was built for bicycles, cargo bikes, and cars. The architectural solution for the second phase of buildings was designed by Martin Aunin, and the main contractor was NOBE.

Invego is a new-generation real estate developer operating in three countries, specializing in large-scale residential areas and business quarters with integrated concepts that shape the future urban space. With over 10 years of experience, the Invego group includes more than 60 companies in Estonia, Latvia, and Portugal, and is currently working on nearly 30 different development projects. Invego has developed more than 150,000 m² of property, with an additional 450,000 m² of residential and commercial space in progress.

Among real estate developers in Tallinn and its surrounding areas, Invego ranks second in terms of the number of new homes sold over the past five years, with 900 homes. Its largest completed developments include Vana-Peetri, Tiskreoja, and Tabasalu Kodu, with current projects underway such as Luccaranna, Uus-Järveküla, and Keila Pargikodud. The company has also developed over 50,000 m² of commercial space.

In Latvia’s capital, Invego is developing residential areas such as Vitolu Parks, and in partnership with Retterra, Parka Kvartals, Skanstes Rezidences, and Miera Rezidences, along with terraced housing in the nearby areas of Vide Adaži and Mārupes Sirds.

In southern Portugal, Invego is developing Silves Hills, a 65-hectare area with 154 villas suitable for both year-round living and seasonal use.

As part of the Kalamaja Days festival, an opening concert was held at the corner of Volta and Kopli streets to inaugurate the new business district and public park, Krulli Park.
