In 2025, a total of 38 families with children purchasing new homes benefited from the \u201cLatvia Needs More Children\u201d offer, receiving 385,000 euros in support provided by real estate developers Invego and Reterra.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kristjan-Thor V\u00e4hi, CEO of Invego, explained that the initiative was launched in response to Latvia\u2019s demographic challenges, where low birth rates and negative natural population growth have raised concerns about the country\u2019s future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLatvia needs more children, and we want young families to feel more confident and courageous in making important life decisions,\u201d he commented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reigo Randmets, CEO of Reterra, emphasized that the campaign has been warmly welcomed in Latvia. \u201cWe received heartfelt messages from parents saying this support enabled them to make one of the most important decisions in life \u2014 purchasing a new home for their family. That is precisely the impact we aimed for, and it inspires us to keep going,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Kristjan-Thor V\u00e4hi, it is natural for successful companies to contribute to society through meaningful initiatives. \u201cThis is our investment in combating population decline and aging, while also supporting Latvia\u2019s development. By helping families with children, we enable them to realize their dreams,\u201d he emphasized, adding that similar campaigns can be expected in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign, titled \u201cLatvia Needs More Children,\u201d offered home purchase discounts of up to EUR 25,000, depending on the number of children in the household. The offer applied to homes in the projects \u201cParka Kvart\u0101ls<\/a>\u201d, \u201cSkanstes Rezidences<\/a>\u201d, \u201cMiera Rezidences<\/a>\u201d, \u201cV\u012btolu Parks<\/a>\u201d, \u201cVide \u0100da\u017ei<\/a>\u201d and \u201cM\u0101rupes Sirds<\/a>\u201d.\u00a0The campaign was carried out in two phases: during October and November of 2025, around 20 families received average savings of EUR 10,000 each, totaling EUR 200,000, while in the beginning of the 2025 18 families benefited from support amounting to EUR 185,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
