On October 8, the Cornerstone laying ceremony for the new residential project \u201cV\u012btolu Parks<\/a>\u201d took place in Sarkandaugava, marking the next stage in the development of the quarter. In total, the sustainable next-generation residential area will offer 363 apartments, and the first homes are scheduled for completion in 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Kristjan-Thor V\u00e4hi, CEO of Invego, \u201cV\u012btolu Parks\u201d represents the next phase of a green and thoughtfully planned neighborhood, emerging between Me\u017eaparks and Skanste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cV\u012btolu Parks will harmoniously combine modern architecture, the latest sustainable solutions, and green, people-friendly surroundings \u2014 becoming a model for future-oriented urban living,\u201d said Kristjan-Thor V\u00e4hi during the ceremony. \u201cWe\u2019re proud to contribute to Riga\u2019s growth with a project that reflects today\u2019s values: sustainability, high quality, comfort, and a greener, more people-centered city.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event brought together representatives of Invego \u2014 the project\u2019s developer \u2014 the authors of the architectural concept \u201cRUUME arhitekti\u201d, construction company \u201cPillar Contractor\u201d, engineers, and project partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding to the vision of the district, architect Oskars V\u0101vere from \u201cRUUME arhitekti\u201d emphasized the importance of creating open, human-centered outdoor spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFrom the very beginning, we wanted \u201cV\u012btolu Parks\u201d to be a place designed for residents\u2019 enjoyment, not cars. That\u2019s why most of the parking is placed underground \u2014 to give more space back to greenery, children\u2019s playgrounds, pedestrian and bicycle paths and shared areas where residents can meet and enjoy the environment,\u201d said Oskars V\u0101vere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking about the project\u2019s implementation, J\u0101nis L\u0101\u010daunieks, Chairman of the Board at SIA \u201cPillar Contractor\u201d, highlighted the company\u2019s strong focus on responsibility and quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cResponsibility is a core value for us, and this project will be no exception. Our experience in constructing apartment buildings is continually growing, and this will be one of the most ambitious projects we have taken on in this area. We appreciate the trust placed in us and wish everyone involved great success. The development will consist of eight seven-story buildings with 363 A-class energy-efficient apartments. Large floor-to-ceiling windows, private gardens, and thoughtfully designed shared green spaces will create a modern, comfortable living environment for residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
