Invego has launched the project “We Need More Kids” in Estonia and Latvia, offering up to €25,000 in home purchase support depending on the number of children growing up in the family.
“Families with more children usually require larger homes and daily expenses also tend to be higher. We decided to support families with children in purchasing a new home,” explained Invego CEO Kristjan-Thor Vähi. He added that as part of this special offer, families purchasing a home in any Invego development will receive €5,000 in support for each child in the family. “All our developments are carefully designed, comprehensive living environments made primarily for families with children,” Vähi emphasized, adding that Invego offers spacious 4- to 5-room homes in all their projects.
The CEO of Invego explains that the idea of offering families special support for purchasing a home was prompted by information on the issue of birth rates. In Latvia, these data are not encouraging. The lowest birth rate in 100 years was recorded in 2022, and in 2023 this indicator is even lower. Since 2021, there have been twice as many deaths each year as births, and natural growth in Latvia has been negative since 1990. “Latvia needs more children, we all want the situation to change for the better. This special offer is Invego’s and Reterra’s contribution to supporting families who support the future of Latvia through their children,” says Kristjan-Thor Vähi, explaining the rationale for the initiative. He emphasizes that even small steps are essential in addressing the problem of declining birth rates and an societal aging.
The home purchase support of up to €25,000, depending on the number of children in the family, applies to homes in developments Uus-Järveküla, Tiskreoja, Luccaranna and Keila Pargikodud in Estonia and to Vide Ādaži, Parka Kvartāls (developed together with Reterra), Skanstes Rezidences (developed together with Reterra), and Vītolu Parks developments in Latvia.
