Krulli Park received the 2025 Public Space Award from the Estonian Association of Landscape Architects, recognizing the project’s high spatial quality and its contribution to the development of Tallinn’s urban space.
Located in the heart of the Krulli Quarter in Põhja-Tallinn, Krulli Park has been designed as a contemporary and diverse public space that combines historic industrial character, thoughtfully designed greenery, and community-supporting functions. Krulli Park creates a green center both for the residents of the quarter and for the wider urban community.
According to the jury, Krulli Park highlights the role of high-quality landscape architecture in shaping a cohesive urban environment. The Public Space Award is presented to projects that offer spatial clarity, sustainable solutions, and a positive impact on the surrounding environment.
Krulli Park is part of the broader development of the Krulli Quarter, where historical heritage and contemporary urban space form a unified whole. The quality of public space has been a central priority in the development of the quarter, and the recognition from the Estonian Association of Landscape Architects confirms the value of this approach.
