A new €5 million commercial building developed by Invego has been completed on Telliskivi Street in Tallinn, on the border of the Kalamaja and Pelgulinn districts. A total of five million euros was invested in the project. In addition to office spaces, the building also houses Reval Cafe and Sodita, a Mexican restaurant with a novel concept.
According to Invego CEO Kristjan-Thor Vähi, the new building fits well into the Telliskivi neighbourhood, where there has so far been a shortage of modern A-class commercial spaces.
“Our goal was to create a flexible and contemporary working environment that would also blend seamlessly with Telliskivi’s character and vibrant atmosphere. We are very pleased with the result, which is why we also decided to relocate Invego’s own office to the new building,” said Vähi. Among other tenants, he highlighted the long-established real estate agency LAAM and the communications agency KPMS.
On the ground floor of the building, Reval Cafe has already opened its doors, and next week it will be joined by Sodita, a restaurant with a fresh and distinctive concept. “Telliskivi is the beating heart of today’s Tallinn, which makes it the ideal location for chef-visionary Orm Oja’s new concept. Sodita is a meeting place for Mexican cuisine, modern music, and a relaxed, easy-going crowd,” promises Anri Treifeldt, who is among the owners of the café, restaurant, and the commercial building itself. He also asks for a bit of patience, as waiting lists for the restaurant’s opening evenings already include several hundred interested guests. The head chef of Sodita is Laura Sillaots.
The architectural design of the three-storey commercial building was created by Kauss Architects, and construction was carried out by 1Partner Ehitus, a company with extensive experience in building and renovating in areas with a strong historical identity.
