Leading Estonian real estate developer Invego has announced an investment of more than 50 million euros in the construction of the 12-hectare residential area “Mārupes Sirds”. The first phase will include 50 row houses, which will be completed in the first half of 2027.
The project “Mārupes Sirds” first phase will offer row houses with private gardens and spacious terraces, which will allow residents to enjoy a peaceful rest in the fresh air, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, yet very close to all the amenities that Riga offers. The project, developed by the well-known architect Uldis Bērziņš (architectural office “TECTUM”), will provide the perfect balance between modern life and the peace provided by nature in one of Riga’s fastest growing districts.
In Estonia, row houses have already gained popularity, as new row house projects provide urban living solutions without the density of apartment complexes and at lower costs than private homes. As an example, Invego CEO Kristjan-Thor Vähi cites the residential area “Uus-Järveküla” in Tallinn, which consists exclusively of semi-detached and row houses and is the largest row house area in Estonia. This project has generated a lot of interest and at least two-thirds of the homes have already been sold.
“This project will be much more than just modern buildings. We will create a place where families and the entire community can fully enjoy life in a peaceful and inspiring environment. The “Mārupes Sirds” will offer everything that a modern homeowner values - comfort, energy efficiency and a close connection with peaceful nature but in a same time in a close proximity of the capital,” says Kristjan-Thor Vähi.
“Mārupes Sirds” will be a sustainable village of A-energy class row houses with the highest quality amenities, including heated floors, a modern ventilation system and large floor-to-ceiling windows, which will bring much more natural light into the homes. Great attention will be paid not only to the construction of housing, but also to the creation of developed infrastructure and well-maintained common areas – including the creation of diverse sports and recreation areas, playgrounds and even a kindergarten. The entire village will be surrounded by a green landscape, and the Jaunmārupe Nature Park is located very close by, offering residents a variety of active recreation opportunities.
In Latvia, the company is currently developing the residential areas “Vītolu Parks”, “Parka Kvartāls” and “Skanstes Rezidences”, as well as the row house village “Vide Ādaži”.
